PORT CLINTON, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Warm-weather fun is starting at African Safari Wildlife Park, which will begin its Extended Weekends this Saturday and Sunday.

During Extended Weekends, the park’s Walk-Thru Safari reopens for the season, featuring kangaroos, warthogs, porcupines, lemurs, macaws and over a dozen other species. Attractions such as educational animal programs, giraffe feedings and tortoise feedings will also return. The Dinosaur Takeover, showcasing more than 20 moving, roaring prehistoric creatures, is included with the general park admission.

Extended Weekends will run every Saturday and Sunday through Memorial Day weekend, after which the park will offer its full array of attractions daily for the entire summer season.

Discounted tickets, offering savings of up to $14 per guest, are available for purchase on the park’s website, africansafariwildlifepark.com, through Tuesday, May 13.
