MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW) — Marion City Schools is actively recruiting substitute teachers and will host a hiring event on Wednesday, Aug. 27, to connect with potential candidates. The event will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. at the District Service Center, located at 910 E. Church St.
The district is looking for motivated individuals from the community, including recent high school graduates, retirees, and others who are interested in making a positive impact on students’ lives.
Substitutes with Marion City Schools are compensated at a rate of $135 per day and have the flexibility to choose the days they wish to work. The district highlights that substitute teaching offers an opportunity to inspire students and be an integral part of the school community.
