The Marion Popcorn Festival – After Labor Day! Please note, while not on Labor Day weekend itself, the world-renowned Marion Popcorn Festival kicks off just a few days later, from September 4-6, 2025. It’s an event worth highlighting for your audience as they plan their week.

  • Thursday, September 4: The festival begins with the Popcorn Parade at 6:00 PM, followed by a free concert featuring Out of Eden, an Eagles tribute band, on the main stage at 8:30 PM.
  • Friday, September 5: Catch a free performance from American Idol winner Chayce Beckham on the main stage at 8:30 PM.
  • Saturday, September 6: The festival closes out with a free concert by the heavy metal band Quiet Riot on the main stage at 8:30 PM.
