MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio State University at Marion Homecoming Selection Committee has named four students to represent the campus at Ohio State’s 113th Annual Homecoming Celebration. Event festivities will take place October 3-4, 2025, on the Columbus campus.
Students were chosen based on their application, interview scores, campus involvement, and G.P.A., to represent the campus. Representatives for this year’s court include Eric Bailey, engineering technology major from Columbus, Ohio; Emma Dawson, early childhood education major from Delaware, Ohio; Todd Lee, social work major from Delaware, Ohio; and Tyshondra Russell, social work major from Marysville, Ohio.
Each year, student leaders are chosen to represent The Ohio State University as members of the Homecoming Court. The court members are chosen based on their ability to exemplify the qualities of leadership, spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement at The Ohio State University at Marion.
This group will represent The Ohio State University at Marion during campus events leading up to the October 3 Regional Campus Homecoming Coronation Ceremony at Longaberger Alumni House, the annual Homecoming Parade, which will step off at Ohio Stadium on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the West Stadium parking lot and end at the Ohio Union. This year’s parade grand marshal is Brutus Buckeye! Brutus is celebrating their 60th birthday in 2025. Homecoming courts from all Ohio State’s campuses will also be honored on October 4 during the Homecoming football game between Ohio State and Minnesota.
