DELAWARE, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—HelpLine will host its 7th Annual Guardians for Good (GFG) Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, marking its evolution into a signature annual fundraiser to ensure stable, continued funding for its free services.

The event, which runs from noon to 1 p.m. at Ohio Wesleyan University’s Hamilton Williams Campus Center in Delaware, carries the theme: “Building Momentum: (re)Shaping Men’s Mental Health.”

“Men’s mental health is not just a men’s issue — it’s a family, workplace, and community issue,” said Dr. Tonia Pace, HelpLine’s Executive Director. “When men thrive, families and communities thrive.”

The celebration will honor community champions who advance HelpLine’s mission, including individuals focused on mentoring young boys, advocating for men who have experienced sexual assault, and fueling local nonprofits.

A featured segment will be an engaging panel discussion led by local and statewide thought leaders in men’s mental health: Dr. Greg Alfred, Jason Hughes of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, and Dino Tripodis of Mantherapy.org. WBNS 10TV co-anchor Stacia Naquin will serve as emcee, and a special guest, a former Buckeye athlete and current Bowling Green State University head coach, is expected.

Tickets are $40 and include lunch. They are available at GFG2025.givesmart.com until Nov. 25. HelpLine, which provides a 24/7 crisis hotline (211, 988), is making the change to a ticketed fundraiser after six years as a free event.

“Every ticket purchased is an investment in sustaining 24/7 crisis support, violence and suicide prevention education, and volunteer connections,” Pace said.
