MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Ring in the new year without staying up late on New Years Eve at The Explore-It-Torium in Marion.

Everyone is invited to the annual Noon Years Eve balloon drop, set for 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at The Explore-It-Torium, 244 S. Main St., Marion.

The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with hands-on activities, music, crafts, and countdown excitement as The Explore-It-Torium staff helps families with young children celebrate 2026 a little early. At noon (12 p.m.) sharp, attendees will ring in the new year with the annual balloon drop, featuring hundreds of balloons. The Explore-It-Torium’s Noon Years Eve balloon drop is perfect for families, children of all ages, and anyone who loves a good celebration.

Admission is $6 per person (ages 1 and up). If you are a member of The Explore-It-Torium, admission to this event is included so there is no additional fee.

Plenty of free parking is available on site or nearby. Staff said they anticipate the event to be busy, so feel free to come early.
