MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The United Way of North Central Ohio (UWNCO) will officially celebrate its new permanent home in the heart of downtown Marion with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026.
The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the organization’s new office located at 198 E. Center St. The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to conduct the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.
The move to the East Center Street location marks a significant milestone for the nonprofit, which serves Crawford, Marion, Morrow, Seneca, and Wyandot counties. According to UWNCO leadership, the purchase of the building allows the organization to transition from temporary leased space to a permanent “Community Impact Center.” The new facility provides increased visibility and serves as a central hub for community meetings and regional operations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new office space and meet with staff and board members. Light refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
The organization also continues to provide critical local services, including the 2-1-1 information and referral line.
