MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— Marion County Common Pleas Court Judge Warren T. Edwards cordially invites the community to attend the F.I.R.S.T. Court (Drug Court) Graduation ceremony. The event will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Community Room of the First Church of the Nazarene, located at 233 W. Church St. in Marion.
The guest speaker for the occasion will be Kevin Davidson.
“Drug courts play a crucial role in holding offenders accountable. They not only enhance public safety but also result in significant cost savings for taxpayers. Moreover, they provide a pathway for severely addicted offenders to become drug-free, law-abiding, and productive members of society,” Edwards said.
During the graduation ceremony, the Court will be honoring a new graduate of the Marion County Common Pleas F.I.R.S.T. (Focusing on Individual Recovery, Success, and Treatment) Court.
“Join us in celebrating his remarkable achievement and listen to his inspiring recovery story,” Judge Edwards said.
