UPPER SANDUSKY, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—On March 5, 2026, the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit/METRICH Enforcement Unit, conducted a Bridge Day Event. This event consists of a targeted law enforcement presence with a community outreach component focused on drug enforcement and substance use recovery efforts.
During the event, Deputies with the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, along with Officers from the Carey and Upper Sandusky Police Departments, conducted a total of 34 traffic stops, resulting in 4 vehicle searches.
In addition, Detectives with the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit partnered with Probation Officers from the Upper Sandusky Municipal Court and the Wyandot County Court of Common Pleas. Four residential searches were conducted, resulting in the arrests of Joshua E. Wright and Donald A. Fetters for probation violations.
As a result of the event, five individuals were connected with recovery, counseling, and outreach services. The searches resulted in the recovery of approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of fentanyl, and multiple prescription pills.
