MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Today, we celebrate and congratulate Bob Goyer on his retirement from Kingston Residence of Marion, honoring a career marked by faith, perseverance, and a deep sense of purpose. Bob’s journey is a powerful testament to the truth of Ephesians 4:7: “To each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift,” and Psalms 90:17: “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands for us.”
Reflecting on his life’s work, Bob describes two defining themes: grace and favor. He humbly shares that he once believed he lacked the skills or ability to pursue higher education or a meaningful career. Yet, in a pivotal moment while working in a factory, he felt God’s call to “Go to college.” That same day, his wife Connie received the very same message—confirming a divine direction that would change everything. Acting in faith, Bob pursued education and graduated Magna Cum Laude, launching a career that would impact many lives.
Throughout the years, Bob’s work has been a living example of what can happen when faith meets obedience. His story reminds us that with God’s grace and favor, no obstacle is too great. As he steps into retirement, Bob gives all glory to God for what has been accomplished through him and looks forward with anticipation to what lies ahead.
Congratulations, Bob, on a remarkable journey—and on the blessings still to come.
