MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Family YMCA has announced a new initiative to provide free evening meals to local teenagers through a partnership with Marion City Schools. Starting Monday, Apr. 6, the YMCA Rec Center will serve free dinner and snacks to all teens in the community.

The program, hosted at the Rec Center at 240 W. Church St., aims to provide a safe environment and nutritional support for area youth. Free snacks will be available from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a free dinner service from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

YMCA officials stated that meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, with quantities adjusted as needed based on participation.

The Rec Center is accessible to all teens who are current YMCA members. Non-members may also participate and access the facility for free by completing a guest waiver form.
