MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The High Road School of Marion County, in partnership with the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, to celebrate the opening of its new, expanded campus.
Located at 1563 Mount Gilead Road, the modern facility is designed to better serve students and families throughout the region. The expansion allows the school to increase capacity for its K–12 support services and its “Next Step 12+” transition program, which assists young adults with autism and other learning differences in preparing for life after graduation.
The High Road School serves students ages 5 to 22 who require a structured, therapeutic environment. The program provides specialized instruction for those with emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual developmental delays.
Sanford and her staff will be on-site Tuesday to lead tours of the new classrooms and discuss the long-term impact of the expansion on the Marion community.
