COLUMBUS, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio Department of Taxation has announced the commencement of the tax filing season for the year 2023. The department is providing a wealth of resources and reminders to assist Ohioans in filing their individual and business taxes.

With OH|TAX eServices, taxpayers can:

  • Electronically file their Ohio and school district income tax returns for free.
  • Make payments electronically, with or without an OH|TAX eServices account.
