MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Marion County Now, an esteemed online news source, officially joined the Marion community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday. The platform is dedicated to providing unparalleled coverage of local news and events, as well as offering customized marketing plans for area advertisers.
News Director Randy Bigley expressed excitement about Marion County Now’s commitment to covering local news with a strong presence in the neighborhood where events unfold. The website was launched in early January to kickstart its mission.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the Harding Memorial, a location of historical significance. The inspiration for the Marion County Now logo stems from the memorial, as President Warren G. Harding was the first to establish a newspaper in the city in 1877.
The ceremony was attended by members of The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce, alongside some Marion County Now figures including News Director Randy Bigley, Sales Executive Claudia Spiegel, Morning Personality Will Beard, On-air Personality and Sales Executive Davey Jones, Correspondents Kailyn Geiger and Bob Goyer, and Administrative Assistant Christa Aidt.
Marion County Now, a proud member of the North Central Ohio Media Group, looks forward to establishing strong community ties and delivering impactful news coverage focusing on the neighborhood.
