MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Marion Matters has announced the appointment of Jamie Beckett as its new Executive Director, effective immediately. In this role, Beckett will spearhead the organization’s efforts to provide leadership, skills, and training aimed at developing sustainable pathways out of instability through education, support, and coaching in the North Central Ohio region.
Beckett comes to Marion Matters with a robust background in community engagement, leadership, and program development. Her extensive experience aligns seamlessly with the organization’s mission to promote education, resource navigation, and long-term stability for residents in participating communities.
“Jamie brings a strong track record of leadership in the nonprofit and public sectors, along with deep experience in cross-agency collaboration and community engagement,” said Ben Albright, Board President of Marion Matters. “Her success in leading countywide partnerships and managing impactful initiatives directly supports the mission of our organization.”
As Executive Director, Beckett will oversee strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and program expansion, further establishing Marion Matters as a leader in collective impact initiatives throughout North Central Ohio. “I am honored to join Marion Matters and serve a community that is deeply committed to lifting one another up,” Beckett stated. “Together with our partners, staff, and supporters, we will continue to create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.”
