ZANESVILLE, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—On June 2, 2026, Logan Forker, 20, appeared in the Muskingum Court of Common Pleas to admit guilt to a string of charges that stem from Forker sexually assaulting a 13-year-old minor on two occasions.

Forker appeared before Judge Gerald Anderson and admitted guilt to the following: attempted rape, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and two counts of importuning; all felonies.

Following the guilty plea the Court moved directly to sentencing and imposed the agreed maximum total prison sentence of 11 ½ years. Upon completion of his prison sentence, Forker will be supervised by the Adult Parole Authority for 5 years and must register every 90 days as a sexual offender/child victim offender for the remainder of his life.

“Proving guilt in sexual assault cases is one of the most difficult tasks prosecutors face,” said Prosecutor Welch.  “This task is made easier when people involved in the case do the right things.  In this case the actions of the trusted adult, medical providers, and law enforcement all contributed to this successful  prosecution.”
