MOUNT GILEAD, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The K-Kids at Park Avenue Elementary in Mount Gilead have been busy this year. They held a pop tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House and got the whole school involved. The Ronald McDonald House collects them and uses the funds to help with their utility bills. The group also raised money by taking pictures at the Denim & Diamonds Dance. They made a donation to the Morrow County Dog Shelter along with dog treats for the pups. Sarina Atwell, Morrow County dog warden, came with “Shorty” to visit the children and accept their donations. K-Kids is part of the family of the Morrow County Kiwanis Club, a service organization that helps children all over the globe.
