MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Marion community will come together at Ohio State Marion for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This meaningful event unites community members, business leaders, local public figures, and families who have been touched by Alzheimer’s or related dementias. It is a morning filled with hope, connection, and shared commitment.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than 7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease, and an estimated 13 million serve as unpaid caregivers. These numbers highlight the importance of continued advocacy, support, and research.
Marion Valley is proud to stand alongside patients, caregivers, and families affected by Alzheimer’s. Our community features a warm, secure 22-bed memory care unit staffed by individuals who are passionate about providing the specialized care our residents deserve.
As a sponsor of the Marion Walk, Marion Valley has already hosted several fundraisers to support its team—and more are on the way. Upcoming events include:
· Car Show – Saturday, August 15
· Wine & Whiskey Community Bingo – Wednesday, September 23
All proceeds from these events will directly benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio.
