MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Palace Theatre is bringing one of Broadway’s most beloved contemporary musicals to downtown Marion this summer as Avenue Q takes the stage for three performances, August 21–23, 2026.
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Avenue Q combines unforgettable songs, laugh-out-loud comedy, and heartfelt storytelling in a unique theatrical experience featuring both live actors and puppets. The production follows a recent college graduate and an unforgettable group of neighbors as they navigate careers, relationships, and the challenges of finding purpose in adulthood.
Packed with clever humor and memorable musical numbers, Avenue Q has earned a devoted following for its honest, irreverent, and surprisingly touching look at growing up. While audiences can expect plenty of laughs, the show also delivers meaningful moments that resonate long after the curtain falls.

A $3 restoration fee will be added to each ticket to help support the continued preservation of the historic Marion Palace Theatre.
