MORROW COUNTY, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Sheriff John L. Hinton and the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office have announced a special ceremony to honor the life and service of the late Deputy Daniel Weston Sherrer. The event, which will include the formal dedication of a section of US Route 42 in his memory, is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026.
The ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, located at 101 Home Road, Mt. Gilead, OH.
