MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— The Marion County Dog Pound is offering a special promotion to help dogs find their forever homes. Until July 19, the adoption fee is slashed in half, making it possible for you to adopt your new best friend for just $67.50.

This reduced adoption fee covers a comprehensive package of services. Each adopted dog will receive a mandatory spay/neuter procedure, a heartworm test, DAPP/bordatella/rabies vaccines, and a 2024 dog tag. These services ensure that each adopted dog is healthy and ready to join their new family.

In addition to the discounted adoption fee, the Marion County Dog Pound also offers a “trial adoption” program, also known as foster-to-adopt. This program allows potential adopters to take the dog home and try things out for a few days before finalizing the adoption. If the dog is not the right fit, it can simply be returned to the pound. If it’s a perfect match, the adoption can be made official.

The Marion County Dog Pound is committed to helping dogs find loving homes and this promotion is part of their ongoing efforts to connect dogs with caring families. For more information about the adoption process or the foster-to-adopt program, visit the Marion County Dog Pound or contact them directly.
