Betty Jane Gamble, age 92, passed away peacefully September 15, 2024. Born May 9, 1932, to Fred and Clohe (Watson) Tharp in Marion, Ohio, she went on to work in the assembly industry, primarily at Tecumseh, for over 20 years. She married her husband, Flem Gamble, in September of 1950 and they shared many wonderful years together. Betty was an fan of playing card and board games with her family. She thoroughly enjoyed animals, especially her cat and chihuahua, and one of her favorite past times was watching the birds.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Flem Gamble, her son, Dana Gamble, and her brothers, Homer, Roy, and Johnny Tharp.
She leaves behind her son, Al (Melody) Gamble, her daughter, Chris (John) Bishop, her seven grandchildren, and her two great grandchildren.
