MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Marion is buzzing with excitement as a trio of highly anticipated events are set to entertain residents and visitors alike.
First up, on Friday, the Marion Palace Theatre will host Wish You Were Here: The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd. This celebrated Pink Floyd tribute band, known for its authentic recreation of the legendary band’s music, will perform iconic classics and deep cuts. The 10-piece ensemble promises a spectacular multi-media stage production with lasers, vintage videos, and flying inflatables.
Next, the 38th Annual Applefest at Lawrence Orchards will take place on Saturday. This family-friendly event features a variety of activities, including a Story Stroll, Haymaze, Farm Animal Petting Zoo, and Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides. Attendees can enjoy delicious treats from local vendors and live music by Newgrass Station. Admission is $7 per person or $25 for groups of four.
Finally, on Sunday, the Central Ohio Symphony will present Mainly Mozart at the Marion Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion. Tickets are priced at $24, and thanks to a grant from the Ohio Arts Council, area students and music teachers can attend for free.
