DELAWARE, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—A former attorney from Bucyrus, Adam Stone, is set to appear in court for his arraignment on January 10, 2025, at 1:30 PM. The arraignment will take place at the Delaware County Court.

Stone is charged with telecommunications fraud, a third-degree felony; impersonation of a police officer or private police, a third-degree felony; grand theft, a fourth-degree felony; and identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony. If convicted on all counts, Stone faces up to 8 1/2 years in prison. The charges stem from his representation of Dan and Mindy Straker.

According to a judgment entry from the court, Stone is required to attend the arraignment in person and may be represented by an attorney of his choosing. Should he be unable to afford legal representation, he has been instructed to contact the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office for assistance.
