MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Spitzer Law Offices is spreading holiday cheer by giving away free turkeys to families in need. The event will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., or until all turkeys are gone.
The giveaway will be held at Spitzer Law Offices, located at 495 S. State St. Participants are asked to use the State St. side of the office (to the right of the point) and to use their hazard lights when pulling to the left side of the road next to the right side of the office. Turkeys will be handed out there, and participants are requested not to pull into the parking lot.
A total of 100 frozen turkeys, each weighing between 14-16 pounds, will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each household is eligible to receive one turkey, and recipients must pick up their turkey in person.
Spitzer Law Offices emphasizes the importance of respecting the purpose of this giveaway. “Please, please, please respect this! Do not come if you are not in need. These turkeys are for people who are in need to supplement costs for families. Please honor the goodwill,” the announcement states.
