Charles married the love of his life, Cheryl A. Franklin, and the two had a wonderful life together until her untimely passing on June 19th, 2021. Charles and Cheryl were high school sweethearts. Alongside being a handyman, he also had quite the knack for being an auto mechanic. He was an avid sports fan and would cheer for the Cleveland Browns, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Cheryl, and his three four-legged companions Heidi, Jackie, and Jakota.
