MT. GILEAD, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Charles Fink was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for the premeditated murders of Linda Fink and Robert Adams. Fink pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder for the killings that occurred on November 25, 2024.

The investigation was led by Morrow County Detectives Rob Chalfant and James Coulter. Morrow County Prosecuting Attorney Andrew Wick represented the state during the plea and sentencing. The Crime Victim Services Office was represented by Director Richelle Ettel and Assistant Director Ashley Sinden. Fink was defended by Kirk McVay and Earl K. Desmond.

Common Pleas Judge Robert Hickson Jr. presided over the case.

The Morrow County Prosecutor’s Office expressed gratitude to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office for their investigation and handling of the case. They also extended their deepest condolences to the families of Linda Fink and Robert Adams.
