PORT CLINTON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The African Safari Wildlife Park, a beloved family attraction, is preparing to end its 55th season on Sunday, November 26, 2023. The park, known for its immersive animal encounters and lasting family memories, will close its gates for the winter and is set to reopen in March 2024.

“Although we’re always sad about closing for the winter, it presents an opportunity to reflect on yet another successful year of incredible animal encounters and unforgettable family memories,” said Kelsey Keller, the park’s director. She expressed anticipation for the park’s reopening, adding, “We look forward to seeing everyone at the Park again in 2024 for more animal adventures!”

The African Safari Wildlife Park has been a staple in Port Clinton for over five decades, providing families with unique experiences and close-up views of a variety of animals. As the park closes for the season, visitors are already looking forward to the adventures that await in 2024.
