ONTARIO, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. has announced the appointment of a new member, Michaela Wolfe, to its Foundation Board. Wolfe will serve as a representative for Wyandot.
Wolfe is a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Marion General Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago, IL in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. Wolfe’s areas of expertise include ICU, Palliative Care, Hospice, Geriatric Medicine, and Family Medicine.
In her new role on the Area Agency on Aging Foundation Board, Wolfe aims to ensure that the aging population has equal access to care and opportunities as they age. This aligns with the agency’s mission to provide leadership, collaboration, coordination, and services to older adults, people with disabilities, their caregivers, and resource networks that support individual choice, independence, and dignity.
