MARION, OHIO (MARION COUNTY NOW) – The Marion Palace Theatre is excited to announce open auditions for the upcoming Junior Palace Production of Beetlejuice Jr., a spooky, high-energy musical comedy based on the Broadway hit and the beloved Tim Burton film. The show is scheduled for performances this October, and the production team is seeking local youth performers to help bring this hilarious, heartwarming, and slightly haunted story to life.
Director Kristi Wink invites boys and girls ages 8 and up to audition for this thrilling musical on Sunday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marion Palace Theatre.
Beetlejuice Jr. follows the story of Lydia Deetz, a quirky teenager fascinated with the afterlife, who teams up with a pair of sweet but recently deceased ghosts and the mischievous, unpredictable bio-exorcist known as Beetlejuice. Together, they navigate the world of the living and the dead in a show packed with outrageous humor, heartfelt moments, and larger-than-life characters.

- Those auditioning for ensemble roles will take part in group dance and singing exercises.
