BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A Bucyrus man has been arraigned on multiple felony charges related to the starvation and eventual death of two dogs.

The accused, Patrick Grasley, 23, of Bucyrus, was arraigned in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court Wednesday. Grasley was arraigned on four fifth-degree felony counts of cruelty to a companion animal, each punishable by a maximum of 12 months in prison.

Additionally, he was arraigned on a third-degree felony for tampering with evidence, punishable with up to 36 months of incarceration.

As part of the proceedings, Grasley’s bond has been raised to $150,000 He is represented by court-appointed attorney Ben Thompson.
