MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— Center Street Health Center held its 4th annual cookout and resource fair in celebration of National Health Center Week.
Residents were able to stop by the health center and grab some lunch, visit with the 67 vendors in attendance, and enter some raffle baskets and giveaways.
Some of the resources that attendees were able to learn about included healthcare, hospice, parenting classes, and more.
“We love it because everybody gets to learn so much about what Marion offers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis,” said Nicole Rich, Community Outreach Coordinator for Center Street Health Center.
Rich says that this event helps strengthen Marion and its community members because it allows residents to learn about resources they may never have known existed.
“A lot of our patrons and people that are showing up today are learning about resources that they’ve never even heard about. So going table to table, you definitely see the different things that are offered,” says Rich.
Center Street Health Center offers many services like medical, dental, pediatric, vision, and more. Those who wish to learn more about Center Street Health Center can check out their Facebook page or visit centerstreetclinic.org
