MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Downtown Marion, Inc. (DMI) is set to host its annual Christmas Gala on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, promising an evening of elegance and community spirit under the theme “Nutcracker Nights.”

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Brickyard on Main, located in downtown Marion. Tickets are $100 per person, or $800 to reserve a full table of eight.

Attendees will receive a gourmet charcuterie selection provided by The Remnant Tea & Coffee, followed by an elegant dinner prepared by All Occasions Catering, featuring both steak and Chicken Cordon Bleu. Each ticket purchase also includes one entry into a reverse raffle with cash prizes totaling $\$1,900$.

The gala will feature live entertainment from local performers Sara Grote and Gabriel Rosvanis, along with both live and silent auctions offering unique items and experiences to support DMI’s efforts. The popular “Dessert Dash” will also return, where tables compete in a fun, fast-paced donation contest for first choice of homemade desserts.

A central element of the evening is the presentation of the 2nd Annual Community Awards. DMI will honor several individuals who have significantly contributed to the community, with awards including the Community Champion, Heart of Downtown, Rising Star Award, and the Executive Director Award.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their holiday best for the celebration. Tickets can be purchased online via a link provided by DMI, or in person by cash or check at Baires Restaurant and Spruce and Sparrow.
