MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, a significant event took place in Marion, Ohio. The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, along with Denim Franklin and Eric Morningstar, owners of E.D.S Bourbon Sauce LLC, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new location at 151 South Main St. The event was attended by Chamber Ambassadors, friends, family, and staff, and an open house was held immediately after to welcome attendees and the public into the space.
E.D.S Bourbon Sauce LLC is a locally owned sauce and restaurant company that started in July 2015 with their first bourbon sauce. The sauce was such a hit that the owners decided to commercialize it. After receiving numerous suggestions to open a restaurant, they opened their first restaurant in Mount Gilead, three years ago. Following several conversations with the Marion Brewing Company, E.D.S Bourbon Sauce LLC decided to partner with them and open a second location in Marion.
Owners Eric Morningstar, born in Galion, and Denim Franklin, from Marion, have strong local ties and are excited to share their love for cooking with the Marion community. Their menu includes bourbon chicken, steak burgers, smoked mac and cheese, and much more.
