MORROW COUNTY (MARION COUNTY NOW) — Election officials have released the latest results from Tuesday’s elections in Morrow County, revealing a mixed bag of outcomes for local levies and funding measures.
Voters rejected the renewal operating levies for cemeteries in both Cardington and Chester Townships. However, the Elm Valley Fire District’s replacement levy received approval from the electorate.
In the realm of education, both the Buckeye Valley School District and Galion City School District levies failed to pass.
On a more positive note, the Big Walnut Joint Fire District renewal levy was successfully approved, along with the Morrow County EMS Levy. Additionally, residents reaffirmed their support for the Ohio State University Extension Office, approving a renewal for its services.
