MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Elgin High School Boosters and Elgin Elementary PTO announce the first Comet Community Day, set to take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Elgin Local Schools.

This exciting event promises a day filled with fun and activities for the entire community. Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including craft vendors, carnival games, a bounce house, face painting, and the Elgin Rock Wall. A scavenger hunt will also be part of the festivities, making it a perfect outing for families.

One of the highlights of the event will be the “Comet Chili,” prepared and sold by elementary students. While entry to the event is free, tickets will be required for carnival games and interactive activities. Community members are encouraged to participate in this fun-filled day that aims to strengthen community ties and support local initiatives.
