MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Former Bucyrus attorney Adam Stone appeared via video for his arraignment in the Marion County Common Pleas Court recently.

Currently incarcerated at the Ohio Department of Correction Reception Center, Stone has not yet been assigned to a facility where he will serve his 54-month sentence linked to charges he pled guilty to in Delaware County.

During the hearing, Stone pleaded not guilty to one count of forgery, a fifth-degree felony that carries a penalty of up to one year in prison.

Following standard protocol for incarcerated offenders, he was granted a personal recognizance bond. Stone is being represented by attorney Joseph Patituce.

The court has scheduled a pretrial for November 25 at 10:30 a.m., with a jury trial set to take place early next year. Additionally, Stone is in the process of appealing his Delaware case.

Crawford County Now will continue to monitor developments in this ongoing story.
