BUCYRUS, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)— The College Planning Alliance is set to host a free college planning workshop at the Crawford County Success Center on September 17, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. This event is open to all parents and students in grades 8-12.

The workshop aims to provide valuable insights on several key topics, including how to secure maximum scholarships, strategies to lower overall college costs, and understanding the impact of recent FAFSA changes on financial aid. Additionally, attendees will learn about the importance of ACT/SAT scores and GPA, choosing a college major, and exploring career options.

Participants will also receive guidance on finding colleges that offer the most merit and need-based aid, ensuring they are well-prepared for the college application process.
