PLANO, TX (MARION COUNTY NOW)Frito-Lay has announced a recall of a limited number of 13 oz. bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips due to the presence of undeclared milk, which poses a risk for individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities. The recall was initiated after a consumer contact alerted the company. The affected products were distributed to retail stores and e-commerce distributors in Oregon and Washington, with availability starting from November 3, 2024. To date, no allergic reactions have been reported. The recall is specific to Lay’s Classic Potato Chips in 13 oz. bags with a UPC of 28400 31041. The bags must have a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of February 11, 2025, and one of the following manufacturing codes: 6462307xx or 6463307xx. Consumers with milk allergies or sensitivities are advised not to consume the product and to discard it immediately. Frito-Lay has informed the FDA of this recall.
