MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Police Department announced the return of the Civilian of the Year award for 2024, with Heather Schramm earning this prestigious honor following a department-wide vote.
As the Records Clerk, Schramm is responsible for fulfilling public record requests and performs a variety of essential duties that support the department’s operations. Her exemplary work behind the scenes has significantly contributed to the department’s success.
Schramm began her career with the City of Marion in the Utility Billing department before joining the police department in September 2023.
