ONTARIO, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Ontario Police Department is still investigating an incident that occurred at Cinemark 14 on January 6, 2024.
Even though media reports over the weekend indicated the two individuals had been identified, a spokesperson with the Ontario Police Department told Crawford County Now that no new information is available at this time.

Two juvenile females reported to a police officer that two adults approached them while they were playing a video game in the theater’s arcade area.
The girls were recording a video of their gameplay for TikTok. In the video, one of the adults can be seen looking into the arcade cabinet before approaching the girls.

The man leaned inside the game vehicle where the girls were seated and touched one of the girl’s legs. He then spoke to her, apologized, and asked if they liked to read.
Another adult can be seen looking into the arcade cabinet window before both individuals left the theater.

The Ontario Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the individuals and gathering more information. If you have any information, please contact Ontario Police at 419-529-2115.
