MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio State University at Marion has welcomed a new staff member, Lauren Pullins, to its campus. On Monday, November 4, 2024, Pullins began her role as the campus’s disability services coordinator in the Office for Disability Services.

The Office for Disability Services provides confidential support services, auxiliary aids, and accommodations for students with disabilities, ensuring they gain equal access to education. This office is part of the Ohio State Columbus campus Office of Disability Services.

In her most recent position, Pullins served as a service and support administrator for the Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities, coordinating services for individuals with disabilities across Perry County, Ohio. Prior to that, she was a learning consultant for Muskingum University in Zanesville for two years and a history teacher for two years.

Pullins holds a Bachelor of Integrated Social Studies from Ohio Dominican University and a Master of American History and Government from Ashland University.

“I am thankful to be in a position to help students become successful in their academic careers at Ohio State Marion and beyond,” said Pullins.

In her spare time, Pullins enjoys camping and spending time with her two golden doodles, Brooks and Jamison. Born and raised in West Jefferson, Ohio, she is happy to now call Marion, Ohio, home.
