MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—March 1 marks the celebration of “Let’s Read 20 Marion! Day,” a county-wide initiative aimed at promoting literacy among elementary and preschool students across Marion County.
To kick off National Reading Month, students will read “Eclipse” by Andy Rash in their classrooms. This engaging story will not only foster a love for reading but also provide an educational experience about solar eclipses.
In addition to the shared reading experience, students will receive “Let’s Read 20” wristbands and solar eclipse viewing glasses. These mementos serve as a reminder of the day’s events and the importance of reading.
The Marion Public Library, a community impact partner, will provide additional solar eclipse programming information.
