MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion City Parks Department is extending an open invitation to the public to enjoy the 21 parks spread across the city. The parks offer a variety of activities including swimming, ball games, disc golf, a dog park, a skate park, and the use of shelters.
“We are committed to doing our best to keep the parks family-friendly and ready to use for a variety of purposes,” says Mike Zucker, Chairman of the Parks Department Board. “We want everyone to feel safe while visiting a park and find it in clean condition.”
The Parks staff, responsible for mowing over 300 acres including the airport grass, works diligently to maintain the cleanliness and safety of all parks. Marion is blessed with a variety of parks scattered throughout the city, offering a diverse range of recreational opportunities.
