MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—Marion City Schools will be closed Tuesday, October 6, because of an ongoing law enforcement situation in the community, officials announced.
The closure also involves street construction and transportation challenges. District officials said they made the decision in consultation with local law enforcement to protect students, families, and staff.
Families are urged to avoid the area around Silver Street.
The district will continue monitoring the situation and provide additional updates as they become available.
