MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)– The unofficial results from the May 6, 2025, primary election reveals a total of 2,927 ballots cast, representing a voter turnout of 7.32% among the 39,968 registered voters.
All 45 precincts reported their results, with a significant portion of the votes focused on key issues. Total votes cast include the following :

In the Republican primary for the Member of Council in the Third Ward of Marion City, the results were as follows:
– Jason Schaber: 62 votes (36.05%)
– Ralph Smith: 110 votes (63.95%)
