MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce two key initiatives aimed at enhancing community safety and support for seniors: the Hyper-Reach public alert system and the Safeguard Our Seniors (S.O.S.) Program.
Hyper-Reach: Your Source for Public Alerts
Hyper-Reach, a state-of-the-art public alert system, is now operational. The system is designed to keep residents informed about urgent situations, including road closures and snow emergencies.
Residents can sign up for Hyper-Reach alerts by visiting the Marion County Sheriff’s Office website. The service is free and provides timely updates to keep the community safe and informed.
Safeguard Our Seniors (S.O.S.) Program: Protecting Our Senior Population
In addition to Hyper-Reach, the Sheriff’s Office is also launching the Safeguard Our Seniors (S.O.S.) Program. This initiative, led by Deputy Jesse Allen, offers vital services to Marion County’s senior population at no charge.
The S.O.S. Program is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of our seniors, a demographic often vulnerable to various risks. Information about the program and the application process can be found on the Sheriff’s Office website.
