MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—On Wednesday, July 31, Marion Direct, under the leadership of Chairman Brad Belcher, celebrated the grand opening of their new business location at 158 N Main St, Marion, OH. The event was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Chamber Ambassadors and community members.

The new facility, known as The CruX Community Peer Support Center, serves as a safe haven for individuals in recovery, offering a supportive environment where they can strengthen their foundation in living life on life’s terms.

Certified peer supporters will have 24/7 access to the center, which boasts ample parking, handicap accessibility, and a convenient location. The center is equipped with pool tables, dart boards, meeting tables and chairs, couches and recliners, board games, Wi-Fi, and a computer and printer.

The CruX will host a variety of weekly activities and meetings in a rotating format. These include concerts, game and movie nights, open mic nights for poetry and comedy, yoga and guided meditation, skills labs, and more. The center is open to all local agencies that provide peer support, provided a certified peer is present and they sign the CruX Pledge and Conduct agreement.

Marion Direct, a nonprofit organization, welcomes any questions and input. They will be holding fundraisers at this location to further enrich those they serve. All agencies are welcome to inquire and be considered for utilization.
