MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Noon Kiwanis Club invites the community to join in a cherished local tradition: Pancake Day on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 7 am -2 pm at Tri-Rivers Career Center. This annual event promises all-you-can-eat pancakes and a day of fun, with all proceeds benefiting children in the area.
For just $7, adults can enjoy unlimited pancakes, while children aged four and under eat for free. Attendees can save $1 on their ticket by purchasing in advance from a Kiwanis or Altrusa member, at Southland Barbers, or Tri-Rivers.
The Marion Noon Kiwanis Club, established in 1921 with the presence of the 29th President of the United States, Warren G. Harding, at its first meeting, continues to serve the Marion area and beyond. The club’s primary objective is to prioritize children, directing all efforts towards improving the lives of young people in the community.
Under the motto “We Build,” the club’s impact is visible throughout the community, from annual scholarships to local projects and events. The club strives to make a positive impact for Marion County kids.
Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Women’s Club Home at 1126 East Center St, Marion, OH 43302. Those interested in attending a meeting as a guest should contact Club President Christy Neff at christy@buckeyeridgehabitat.org.
