MARION, OH (MARION COUNTY NOW)—The Marion Police Department (MPD) is celebrating the service anniversaries of two of its most dedicated officers, who have collectively served the community for over half a century.
Lt. Jim Fitsko, the most senior member of the MPD, recently marked his 32 years with the department. His tenure has been characterized by steadfast dedication and an unwavering commitment to public safety.
Joining him in this milestone is Det. Matt Creps, who is celebrated his 23 years of service on Sunday. Creps’ investigative acumen and relentless pursuit of justice have been instrumental in maintaining law and order in Marion.
Both Fitsko and Creps have made a significant impact — or “#MPACT,” as the department puts it — on the Marion community. Their years of service have not only contributed to the safety and security of Marion but have also set a high standard for their fellow officers.
The MPD and the Marion community are looking forward to the continued contributions and great things to come from both Fitsko and Creps. Their service to the community is deeply appreciated, and they stand as shining examples of the dedication and commitment inherent in law enforcement.
